Weekly report week 12 (2025)

17.03 - 21.03
Well, well well, back we are I guess. It was again a fully packed week:
I spent some time reviewing and estimating the workload for the upcoming (potential) external ISO-27001 project. It’s shaping up to be a solid opportunity, but there’s a lot to figure out in terms of scope, hours, and what exactly needs to be done. Feels good to get into the planning phase tho.
Certicopter is half-officially heading into the next phase! Open-sourcing it is still the goal, but there’s a fair amount of groundwork to cover before it’s ready for the world — cleanup, documentation, some architectural things I want to rethink. Slowly but surely, it’s getting there.
Together with my PiBS colleague I started migrating the whole blog site to a new framework — which has been a bit of a hustle so far. At the same time, I’m also reworking the first module for the next PiBS student, so there’s a lot of context-switching happening but I try to keep everything structured.
Good news: my cluster is back up. That means I can finally continue with the last module next week. Took a short pause while it was offline, but now I’m ready to jump back in and try to finish as soon as possible (sorry for being late).
