Achievability
Three week streek is going on. I think I found the right way to structure my block now. After successfully passing the exam last week I now need to focus on my last task for the private cloud team. This will be task 4 and 5 for the PC module. What I also want trying to finish is the Certicopter things that are up like licensing, implement review feedback, and the last features so that hopefully next week it is ready for it’s final review to publish it.
What I also definitly want to tackle this week is the scoping I missed last week for ISO-27001. Defining all tasks their scopes and what needs to be done for achieving it. Similar to my blog analyzis in a small for for the ISO tasks.
Concrete goals for the week:
- Finish Certicopter if possible
- Finish PC module
- Scope ISO-27001
Task specification
- PC Module:
- Setup NKE orienting at our internal guide
- Try out microsegmentation
- Certicopter:
- Implement the feedback
- Last new features for the global variables
- Licensing
- ISO:
- Define tasks
- Outline the possible scope for each task
Measurements
PC Module
- NKE setup?
- Does microsegmentation work?
Certicopter
- License defined?
- Review fully implemented?
ISO
- All taskes scoped?
- Reviewed new goals for 2026?
Achieved goals (including week 20)
I’ve completed the PC module, successfully set up the Kubernetes engine, and it’s running smoothly. Additionally, I reviewed the theory behind flow microsegmentation and playbooks for automation. With that wrapped up and my certification passed, I’m now officially transitioning to the Public Cloud team. I’m really excited to take this next step.
On another note, Certicopter has finally been released and is now publicly available as open-source software under the Apache 2.0 license. This means it can be used by anyone. The next steps will involve maintaining the code, adding new features, setting up a pipeline, and implementing tests. As you can see, I’ll certainly have plenty of work ahead.
For ISO-27001, I’ve scoped out the three most important tasks, along with feedback from the last audit. One of those tasks will be continuing my transfer work next week.
Thoughts
Nothing special.
