Planning phase

Welcome back after a while. What are my goals or relevant tasks for this week after the exam phase? First of all, I have two tasks for ISO-27001: continuing the password manager backup automation, and inspecting and trying to fix the smaller “green” issues on our website. As a second-priority task, there is still the transfer work ongoing. For that, I want to implement all feedback from the last review in order to plan another review session. Also, of course, I want to continue and eventually finish my second AWS module so I can present it at a Friday meeting. The fourth task is related to a newly assigned responsibility: I should start preparing for the NKPA certification. For that, I plan to take the course on Nutanix Kubernetes automation. And finally, at some point, the test coverage for Certicopter should be implemented.

Concrete Goals for the Week:

  • Continue password manager backup automation (ISO-27001)
  • Inspect green issues on the website (ISO-27001)
  • Implement feedback for transfer work and prepare for next review
  • Continue and finish 2nd AWS module for Friday presentation
  • Start Nutanix Kubernetes Automation course (NKPA prep)
  • Plan and begin test coverage for Certicopter

Time

  • 3 working days

Measurements

  • Password manager backup automation:

    • Error fixed?
    • Upload visible?
    • How much of the process doesn’t need manual interaction?
  • Website inspection:

    • How many vulnerabilities could be fixed?
  • Transfer work:

    • New methodic approach written down?
    • Was the comparison made?
    • Is everything well-founded and deducible?
  • NKPA:

    • Course completed?
    • Additonal practice done?
  • Certicopter:

    • Testing coverage concept understood?
    • Understanding of pytests?
    • Any tests implemented?
