Weekly report week 5 (2025)

27.01 - 31.01
Hello again!
It has been quite a stressful time due to exams, but next week I will have my last one, and then this semester will be over. Also, the new semester will already begin next week, and in one of the courses, I want to work on a side project that aligns with a subject/project we have at school.
Regarding work, I have completed the Kubernetes course, which also covered some basics of Helm, Prometheus, and Grafana toward the end. By the way, I have to say that Helm is really cool! The fact that you can make changes to a live, active system just by modifying one of the charts is, in my opinion, an amazing feature. I plan to use this in practice for my side project and might even mention it in future blog posts.
Apart from that, I will be focusing heavily on ISO 27001 to prepare for the audit in March, which is why I am dedicating a lot of time to it. Additionally, I will start preparing for the NCP exam to ensure I can successfully take it on February 12th. On top of that, I am trying to find time to finish the last two modules for Private Cloud, aiming to complete them by the end of February.
At the moment, I have started the “Azure Basic Infrastructure” module, where I have already set up an IIS web server that I can access through a Bastion host. Now, I need to replicate the same setup using Terraform.
Enjoy your weekend, and see you next week!
